Terms and Conditions
Please arrive 30 minutes before the departure time of your trip, 31 Woodcleft Ave. Freeport NY, 11520, is our address. The boat will leave promptly at the time the trip is scheduled.
All Guests are responsible for their belongings. Coolers are not permitted onboard with the exception of on specific trips where we do not offer a Bar service.
If a person becomes unwell and requests to be returned to shore, then Nautical Mile Cruises will give no refund, and it is also up to the Captain's discretion whether or not to return to port.
Cancellations and Refunds:
There are no refunds or transfers on any tickets purchased. All sales of tickets are final.
You may nominate a full refund of the deposit or transfer your deposit to an alternative date if Nautical Mile Cruises has canceled your trip.
Nautical Mile Cruises will not be held liable for any indirect costs incurred by booking a fishing charter with us.
If the trip is canceled at any time by Nautical Mile Cruises, we will not be held liable for any travel costs, meals, accommodation, or any other costs the customer may have incurred.
It is required that all customers behave safely and respectfully to all staff, other customers, and our property.
If we find that there has been loss or damage to our equipment or vessel due to negligence or unruly behavior, then the customer will be liable for replacement or repair of the item (Nautical Mile Cruises will take funds from the credit card that is held for security)
The Captain reserves the right to cancel a trip and payment is forfeited if unruly or unsafe behavior is displayed.
Credits / Gift Cards:
Passengers must produce credits at the time of boarding. Otherwise, the passenger must pay a new fare.
Passengers must present gift cards at the booking time so that customer service can process the gift card.
If the customer holding the Gift Card or Credit misses the trip on the booked day without providing notice or is late, and the boat has left port, the passenger will forfeit the Gift Card or Credit.
Gift Card or Credits are not transferable or refundable.
All charters are subject to suitable weather conditions (the decisions made at Captian's discretion), and we reserve the right to cancel any trip due to bad weather (even at short notice).
We require the customer to check their email/voice messages for confirmation, which will be made by our office before the trip. If you miss our call, we will do our best to leave you a voice message, send you a text message or email. Your responsibility is to follow up with our office before your trip to ensure the trip is on schedule.
In an instance where the weather may turn unexpectedly, it is at the Captian discretion whether any full or partial refund is given as a credit for a future Trip.
We have the right to ask any customer to wear a life jacket at any time.
All children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.
Drugs / Alcohol:
On trips where we offer a Bar service, no outside alcohol is permitted.
On trips where we do not offer a Bar service, alcohol is allowed onboard the vessel.
Responsible consumption of alcohol is to be adhered to.
The Captain reserves the right to: refuse alcohol onboard if he deems it to be unsafe, refuse a passenger onboard the vessel if they are under the influence of alcohol, and can cancel the trip with no refund.
NO DRUGS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED ON ANY OF THE CAPTAIN LOU FLEET BOATS OR NAUTICAL MILE CRUISES.
